After a fabulous breakfast at our hotel’s buffet (included with our stay!) we checked out of the Hilton Ramses and our driver picked us up for the airport. We had a short 11:00 AM flight to Hurghada!
Hurghada is a beautiful town located on the Red Sea. We stayed at The Continental Hotel, an all-inclusive resort. After getting settled in, and some lunch at the buffet, we spent the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying our surroundings.
Our room was the Classic Room with Sea View and what a view it was! The beds are comfortable, the air conditioning top notch, and the room is spacious and clean.
The staff are very attentive and so kind. They remembered us everyday and genuinely seemed excited to see us.
The resort has an entertainment staff who coordinates activities during the day. One afternoon, they had a foam party at the pool and it was so much fun!
At night time, they have other forms of entertainment. I remember one evening on our trip, they scheduled a belly dancing performance, which was really enjoyable.
We didn’t always stay up for the late show, but they do have entertainment each night.
The food is plentiful. There are many options for everyone at the buffet, Palm’s Brasserie. And then there are specialty restaurants, such as Al Dente, an Italian restaurant, and the Marina Restaurant, which serves Egyptian cuisine, alongside the boat marina. We were able to sit on the dock and enjoy the water view while having our dinner one evening.
There is a pool with a swim-up bar. I spent a few hours there on our last day. On our one day of downtime at the resort we hung out at the beach. As the resort is located on the Red Sea, the water has a high salinity, which makes floating with zero effort absolutely possible. I spent about an hour floating and relaxing without tiring myself out!
Here are some photos from the resort, including the view from our room.
