1) Backup Battery for your Phone – Having a charged phone at Disney is super important because of the My Disney Experience App. In addition to all the normal things you use your phone for, you will use the app to get your Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane rides (the new version Fast Pass)!
2) Water bottle – You definitely do not want to get dehydrated at Disney. There is so much walking and most of the year, it’s extremely hot. It doesn’t matter if it’s Disney World or Disneyland. You can refill your water bottle throughout the parks or even ask for free ice water at the quick-service restaurants!
3) Sunscreen – It’s also very sunny in Florida so don’t forget to bring Sunscreen!
4) Poncho – this one applies more to Disney World (and less Disneyland) as it rains so often in Florida. The parks do not close when it rains, so throw on a poncho, and continue to enjoy your day!
5) Sharpie for autographs/Pins to trade – These fun little extras are what make Disney so great! I recommend the fat Sharpies because some of the characters with gloves have trouble holding the smaller Sharpies. And you can purchase a lot of pins to trade in the park!
For a more comprehensive list, check out my video below. It was filmed in 2022, but my list hasn’t changed.
